Spring Events
Spring is the time when Esperance dazzles with its wildflowers. Summer Activities
Esperance's pristine beaches are the highlight of summers. Bask in the sun, swim in the warm waters, and indulge in a wide range of adventurous water sports, including diving, surfing, fishing, and kite surfing.

The Twilight Markets is another summer event that is fun for all. Happening every Thursday evening from December through to March, these markets are held on the Esperance Foreshore. Visitors can enjoy live music, browsing the market stalls for unique souvenirs, and sampling the delights of street food and drinks.

Autumn Events
This season marks the beginning of the whale watching season. Esperance is the perfect place to witness these majestic creatures in their natural habitat. The best time to sight these sea giants is between June and October. In April, the Esperance Bay Yacht Club hosts its annual Esperance Island Race. It is a two-day event, which includes races and other social events.

From June to August, Keen bird watchers can visit the Bird Observatory, which offers a unique opportunity to spend time in one of the most remote regions of Australia. You can catch sight of an extraordinary number of beautiful bird species, including water birds, raptors, and migratory shorebirds.

Another event that is not to be missed in winter is the Esperance Community Winter market, which includes local vendors selling their unique handcrafts and homemade goods.
